GAINESVILLE – With football season coming up in the fall, Gator football fans flocked to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in order to watch the Orange and Blue Game preseason scrimmage. Former football coach Will Muschamp attended the game excited and ready start the season fresh.

“I just… I guess I never had the heart to tell him,” said Athletic director Jeremy Foley.

Plus, you see how he gets when he’s mad. He would throw a tantrum, turn my office upside down. I just couldn’t.”

Muschamp apparently got to the stadium, grabbed his old headset, and went into the locker room to give an inspirational pre-scrimmage speech to the players, who listened to him with much confusion.

“Yeah I mean we miss him and he’s a great guy, but I just don’t understand why he’s still here, checking on the equipment so thoroughly and stuff,” said Halfback Jerome Reynolds. “For someone who no longer has any affiliation with the university or athletic program at all, he seems REALLY into it.”

During the scrimmage, Coach Jim McElwain was seen introducing himself to Muschamp.

Yeah I really like my new assistant Coach McElwain”

boasted Muschamp. “Seems like a really knowledgeable guy. He’ll make a great addition to the program.”

A few moments later, Muschamp received a text message on his phone notifying him that his contract as Head Coach was not renewed after last season, and that he no longer has any authority or responsibilities regarding the Florida Gators football team.

“This is a f*cking outrage!” screamed Muschamp, before violently throwing his headset and clipboard in a fit of rage. “Why the hell didn’t anybody tell me this sh*t before I drove my ass all the way down here from Georgia?! I’m telling President Machen about this!”

The former head coach then started ripping up the grass and punting footballs into the stands. Albert the Alligator was seen trying to calm Muschamp down, before he was escorted out of the stadium by UFPD.
