T.I. to be released from prison for Gator Growl performance

It’s almost that time of the year where every Gator’s favorite B-list artists come to Gainesville to throw UF’s extremely average pep rally.

That’s right, Gator Growl is right around the corner. Traditionally a subpar concert following the climax of Homecoming Week, Gator Growl has been around for over 90 years, almost as old as the artists they hire.

This year, Gator Growl staff has managed to bring Jana Kramer, Echosmith, and headliner T.I. to campus.

Some students may be curious as to what T.I has been doing since his last popular song. The rapper has decided to take a seven-year hiatus and voluntarily return to the slammer as his lyrics flow best there.

Yo,”

Mumbled T.I. through the phone as we sat down for a behind the glass visit. As the fellow acts were mentioned to T.I. he interjected,

“Who da hell?”

Grand Hustle Records partner Jason Greter says T.I.’s contract contains some very strict provisions, one being that he must be wearing his orange jump suit during his performance.

“Otherwise he might just slip into the crowd and try to escape,”

Greter said.

Some of the other arrangements include a “Glock on deck at all time,” access to a cell phone and Tinder, and a strict demand that he must only perform Taylor Swift covers. The conditions are per T.I.’s request.

When asked about said arrangements, he reasonably replied,

I don’t care what you do fo’ you respect, but I would die for mine.”

Gator Growl will be held on Friday, November 6th so make sure to purchase your tickets like, super soon. Please buy the tickets. Please.
